Spring Break last this year from April the Ninth through April the Seventeenth. Students are free to stay on campus if they wish, but all classes are canceled until Spring Break is over. Also, since school didn't begin until December Third, school will not be letting out for Summer Break.

After a search, it is found out that Harrison Wright was the culprit behind the shrinking furniture. Luckily he is let off easily, and his only punishment is being forced to put all the furniture to rights. This prank has caused Harrison to become a bit of a hero in the eyes of many of the students.

March 18, 2011 Today it was announced that Nathan Coventon was to be appointed as Head Boy since the previous Head Boy left the school in February. Certain students start a betting pool to see how long this Head Boy will last before he cracks and leaves too. Anyone caught betting on the new Head Boy is subject to detention and loss of house points, but that doesn't stop those determined to get in on the action.

Today Fourth year Rakiah Marcos Johnson is pulled out of the Dining Hall after one of his friends rats him out for being the mastermind behind the Araboth incident. He is in-house suspended for the next three school days and denied all extra rights and privileges for the next two months. This includes trips away from the school grounds, be it to the town proper or anywhere elsewhere. Including home.
Many think that he is punished much more harshly than he should be, and there are whispers that he is being singled out because he is a Therian and Headmistress Moreau is very pro-Faie.

After numerous parental complaints about what happened in the Araboth common room the day before, the staff - headed by the Head Mistress - start an investigation to see who pulled the prank. Anyone who had access to the common room is pulled out of class for questioning. There is general discontent with this throughout the student populace.

March 8, 2011 Today Araboth students woke up to find their common room floor covered in a super sticky substance. Any student who steps on the floor of the common room is stuck and can't move, and as the only way out of Araboth house is through the common room, all Araboth students miss the their first class. When none of the students from Araboth show up, the groundskeeper is sent to check on the situation.
The students are all released by the end of their second class.

March 4, 2011 The old cook retires and is replaced by a much younger chef. Sumata Matsaba is a trained chef and a master potion maker. Her food is some of the best tasting most of the students have ever tasted and there is general rejoicing at her joining the staff.

March 3, 2011 After the talking tree expressed its wish to not be back to sleep, a group of students have started a protection group for him. Walter - as he wishes to be known as for now on - is a Weeping Willow and he lives up to his name. He is one of the most depressing trees most of the students have ever come across, and for every supporter he has, there is someone who is just annoyed by his constant moping.
It is also Kayla Malik's birthday

March 2, 2011 Someone gives one of the trees in the Quad temporary life, so students hear about the woes of a tree who hasn't been able to talk. The Professors set out to silence it, but a few of the students aren't too happy to hear that it will be put back to sleep.

March 1, 2011 A crafty raccoon made its way into the school and it took the raccoon getting into the kitchens before people realized it wasn't a Therian. The raccoon was then caught by the groundskeeper and returned to the forest outside the school.

February 28, 2011 It appears that a dryad or two somehow managed to find its way from the forest into the Library, which now looks more like a meadow in Spring than a quiet place to study. It is kept open while Prof. Emily Jones and the Groundskeeper clean it out, which they finish just before curfew.

February 25, 2011 Pop quiz in Prof. Akio Tanaka classes. Herbology and Potions students had better hope they'd studied up!
February 26, 2011 The dome may be keeping the cold weather out, but a second year water mage's boyfriend has just broken up with her, causing her to lose control of her powers. Now it is raining in the main hall, a few of the dorms, and in different spots scattered throughout the school. Prof. Kate Williams manages to calm the girl down after supper, leaving the students damp, but happy it's over.

The Professors finally managed to fix the dome sometime in the pre-dawn hours of the day. Students are glad to have temperatures back up into the fifties again.

The dome is still not fixed and now a thick blanket of snow covers the ground outside the school. A prankster has taken advantage of this, and charmed snowballs to fly around and pelt unsuspecting students.

The magical dome that prevents the school from facing the freezing Greenland weather isn't working properly, and there are spotty areas scattered throughout the Quad where there is snow on the ground. Students are advised to dress warmly, and to watch out for icy patches.

Prof. Cecilia Rowan is in an exceptionally bad mood today, and any students that take Higher Science end up with even more homework than normal. Any students caught misbehaving should expect to have points docked.
